(Permanent full-time position)
Summary of duties
Member of the multidisciplinary team of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program, the incumbent will provide assessment, intervention and consultation services to clients presenting various mental health problems, namely severe and persistent mental illness.
Qualifications required:
- Have a bachelor's degree of Science in Occupational Therapy or equivalent approved by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists;
- Be a member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Occupational Therapists;
- One year experience in Occupational Therapy;
- Must meet the language requirements according to the Health -Authority’s (zone 5) official languages policy;
- Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently;
- Demonstrate organizational skills and good interpersonal relations;
- Be currently certified in CPR or willingness to pursue this training;
- Good previous work and attendance record;
- Be physically capable of performing the duties required by the position.
- Experience in mental health would be an asset.
