(2 permanent full-time positions)
Summary of duties
The incumbents will provide quality speech-language pathology services to clients / patients and perform related administrative duties. They will work closely with interdisciplinary teams and take part in developing and implementing new programs according to needs. Zone 5 has a team of nine (9) speech-language pathologists.
Qualifications required:
- Have a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology-Audiology with a specialty in Speech-Language Pathology, or the equivalent approved by the New Brunswick Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists;
- Be a member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists;
- Must meet the language requirements according to the Health -Authority’s (zone 5) official languages policy;
- Have a valid driver’s licence for the province of New Brunswick;
- Demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently;
- Have current CPR certification or be willing to obtain it;
- Good previous work and attendance record;
- Be physically capable of performing the duties required by the position.
