FIRST BABY BORN AT THE CAMPBELLTON REGIONAL HOSPITAL

Campbellton (N. B.) – The first baby born at the Campbellton Regional Hospital in 2008 was a little boy called Nathan James.  He arrived at 10:40 on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, and weighed a healthy 3,530 g (7lbs 12oz).  The first baby of the year in Restigouche is the first child of Vicki Charest and James Harris from Glen Levit.

As part of its 2008 Safe Start Program, the New Brunswick Medical Society is giving the first baby born in each hospital in the New Year an infant car seat.  The Restigouche Health Authority extends its most sincere congratulations to the happy parents and their family.

Shown on the picture from left to right are Dr. Elsaid Elrify, pediatrician, Dr. Michael Johnston, Vicki Charest holding little Nathan James, and James Harris.
