EMPLOYEE WELLNESS PROGRAM

Welcome to our Wellness Website!

In Region 5, the Restigouche Health Authority (RHA) has committed to the development of an Employee Wellness Program to promote and encourage employee wellness.

In September 2005, the Restigouche Health Authority launched the Employee Wellness Program.

This program is managed by the Employee Wellness Committee. The Committee is a multidisciplinary committee that is committed to creating a culture which promotes the wellbeing of the employees of the RHA.

The following four areas have been identified as the responsibility of the Employee Wellness Committee:

  1. Promotion of healthy lifestyles
  2. Prevention of illness
  3. Encourage employees to take responsibility for preserving their health and to make healthy choices
  4. Identify the needs and interests of employees in relation to their well being
