Visiting Hours
Campbellton Regional Hospital
- Regular visiting hours are between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Children less than 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and must remain in the patient’s room.

When patients are severely or terminally ill, family members are allowed to visit at any time.

On the Intensive Care, Obstetric, Pediatric and Veterans’ units, close family members are allowed to visit at all times, depending on the patient’s condition and after obtaining approval from the nurse manager.

On the Psychiatry Unit, adults and children 12 years old and over are allowed to visit between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., from Monday through Thursday, and 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., 5 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays.
Restigouche Hospital Center

Visiting hours are flexible. However, the Nurse Manager may limit visiting hours, making it a point to tell the visitor why. Patients may receive visitors on the unit if they are 14 years of age or over.
Scent Policy
The Restigouche Health Authority has a scent policy recognizing the importance of providing a healthy environment that is sensitive to respiratory problems and allergic reactions that may be caused by chemical substances. This applies to visitors, patients, and employees. When planning on visiting a sick person, refrain from using any scented products.
Smoking
According to provincial legislation, smoking is forbidden in all New Brunswick hospital facilities. This applies to all patients, visitors, and employees.
Where to Eat?
Campbellton Regional Hospital
- Café Sugarloaf – cafeteria located on Level 2, open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Soup’N Sweets Coffee Shop – located on Level 1, open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Gift Shops
Campbellton Regional Hospital
The Gift Shop is located in the Main Lobby, and is operated by the Campbellton Auxiliary – Health Care. The Auxiliary uses proceeds from the operations of the Gift Shop to purchase equipment and other items that will improve patient care and comfort. The Gift Shop has an assortment of gifts, dried floral arrangements, personal care products, newspapers and cards.
Hours of Operations:

Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.; 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday: 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.; 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (Saturday); 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Sunday)
Lost and Found
The Security Department provides a lost and found service at all facilities. If you misplaced something, please advise the nursing staff or a security guard. All items found will be held for a period of 30 to 90 days.
Balloons
Since latex balloons cause severe allergies in some people, they are not allowed in all facilities. Mylar balloons are safe and can be sent to the hospital.
Cellular Phones
The use of cellular telephones is forbidden anywhere inside all facilities in the Health Authority. Cellular phones must be turned OFF while in a hospital facility.
Visitor Parking
Free visitor parking areas are provided by the Health Authority nearby each facility. The Health Authority is not responsible for any loss or damage to any vehicle in one of its parking lots.
